Leadership Team

C. Travis Webb, PhD
A common thread runs through Travis's eclectic background: a desire to understand what brings people together towards a common purpose and inspires them to pursue extraordinary goals.
This is the focus of his scholarly research on the evolution of U.S. civic culture, and it is at the heart of TIV's core philosophy.
If we give you the tools and the space to explore your own inner voice, you will sing. At TIV that often means you will literally sing. But singing isn't only the sound of your own voice. It is a vehicle to express your own unique self. That might happen when you strum the guitar, or play the piano, and it might also happen when you stand up in a room full of peers and share your own point of view. Singing is just a word for saying who you, and only you, are.
Travis's professional and academic life is a reflection of that philosophy. He has served in leadership positions for two international scholarly organizations, edited multiple academic journals, published, run a successful martial arts studio, patented an emotionally responsive task management system, and established a free after school tutoring service in one of California's Title I school districts.
He and his wife turned Molly's Music into one of the largest music teaching services in Orange County, CA, before expanding their vision. The Inside Voice is that expanded vision.
Molly Webb
Molly loves running lessons as an ongoing conversation with her students about how they want to color their sound, empowering them to make their own aesthetic decisions and giving them the tools with which to do that.
Molly has dedicated her life to music and has been running her vocal school since 2006, after graduating from Columbia University.
Molly is an Estill Master Trainer, has studied at the NYU Medical Center with world-renowned vocal scientist Johan Sundberg, and has completed the 3 levels of certification in Somatic Voicework™, the Jeanie Lovetri Method.
Molly’s voice-teaching style is influenced by a number of sources, including classical training, Speech Level Singing, Somatic Voicework, and the wonderful Estill Voice Training system. She believes every voice and personality should be treated differently, and that lessons should be based on the student’s current abilities and ultimate aspirations. Her methods are based on the premises that there’s no one-style-fits-all approach to voice, that if you can speak, you learn to sing, and that vocal pedagogy should be evidence-based and not full of the mythology you’re often force-fed in voice lessons.

You can find Molly's students on Broadway; as Golden Buzzer winners on America’s Got Talent; in movies and television; in a wide variety of professional bands; studying voice in prestigious programs, including Berklee School of Music, USC Thornton, and Belmont University; and in art schools, including Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA), Academy of the Arts (APA), and South Orange County School of the Arts (SOCSA).
